Kindness is Magic Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the children in our community. Our mission is to help ensure that every student enrolled in public school is provided a healthy nutritious lunch regardless of their economic status. Our focus is to supplement funds to school districts that have delinquent student lunch debt and to provide education and resources of available lunch programs to parents and guardians who may be struggling with financial obligations.

Our inspiration: When my daughter Emma was in first grade, she came home from school with a little note in her hand with the words “so sweet” written on it. She shared with me that her friend gave it to her, and explained that her friend didn’t have any money on his lunch card. Emma was upset when she witnessed him have to put his milk back and take his seat, so she took it upon herself to use her lunch card to buy his food. “Don’t tell mommy, I’m a packer, I’m not supposed to buy lunch too. I don’t want to get in trouble” she told me. Her kindness opened my eyes. Our conversation that day sparked many questions, the most memorable was, “What are we going to do to help?”
